WI‑Fond du Lac Regional Clinic – PRN Position
It’s more than a career, it’s a calling. This PRN position is available at the WI‑Fond du Lac Regional Clinic in North Fond duLac and seeks:
- Medical Assistants (MA, CMA or RMA) who have graduated from an accredited school of medical assisting
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a Wisconsin license
Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Shift times vary between 7:00am and 5:00pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
Job SummaryProvides care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of license.
Responsibilities- Assesses patients and ensures their well‑being.
- Administers medications and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
- Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Educates patients and families about disease treatment plans, self‑care post‑discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow‑up care.
- Documents provider encounters, including listing diagnoses, symptoms, discharge/follow‑up instructions, and prescriptions as indicated.
- Transcribes patient orders for labs, radiology, and medications, and completes charts with results.
- Ensures that all orders are complete so the provider can make treatment decisions.
- Transcribes consultation or discussion notes with family, private physicians, or on‑call physicians.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and follows all safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an education equivalency for licensing.
Experience: No experience required.
Physical Requirements: Frequent use of speech, standing, walking, lifting 0–25lb, occasional lifting 25–50lb, patient moving, bending, kneeling, twisting, repetitive motions, occasional driving, and occasional crawling or running; requires steady vision, hearing, and smell.

Certifications:
State‑specific licensing (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) required, including Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) by the American Heart Association and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the appropriate state regulatory authority.
