Position Overview

As part of the talented Dealer Sales team, you will be providing world class customer service to Mercury Dealers in the United States by answering calls and emails as well as assisting with day to day administrative tasks (order entry, order maintenance, order tracking, etc). This position is ideal for candidates who are team-oriented and believe in supporting sales goals through collaboration with their co-workers and field sales managers, as well as other internal stakeholders.

The position includes working directly with dealers on order processing, product inquiries, and process and procedure communication. Problem solving and ability to make decisions within policies and procedures is required. This is a position that must be success-driven, able to multi-task, and work well in a diverse team and enjoy a dynamic and changing environment.

Essential Functions
  • Respond and support customers through, but not limited to, phone calls and email.
  • Daily use of  to document and facilitate multiple aspects of the sales cycle
  • Collaborate closely with Insides Sales Account Reps, Business Development Manager, and Regional Business Directors as well as cross-functional departments such as credit, supply chain and distribution.

Required Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program with a major in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, phone presentation skills, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with computer software applications (order entry, word processing, databases and spreadsheets).
  • Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
  • Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) during the May through August of 2027

The pay range for this position is $18-$27.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
