About the Role

Wenger Construction is expanding our Service Division and looking for a dependable and motivated Service Technician to join our friendly, responsive service team. Our service crews handle repairs, maintenance, and small projects with precision, safety, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

As a Service Technician, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in roofing, siding, and sheet metal work while helping identify and resolve building issues in the field. You’ll be part of a hardworking, supportive crew dedicated to providing a World‑Class Customer Experience and maintaining Wenger’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on commercial roofing, siding, and sheet metal systems.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to repair or replace materials safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate and complete project work.
  • Collaborate with crew members and project managers to complete work on schedule.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working at heights and on active job sites.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
  • Experience in roofing and/or siding (2+ years ideal); willing to train the right candidate with less experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Wisconsin.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to pass pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report).
