Job Description

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. The role supports a safety‑focused environment and offers opportunities to build skills across a variety of equipment and to pursue a career track in service or operation management.

• Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment to avoid downtime.
• Work on a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
• Apply knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Maintain safety standards and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment desired.
• Ability to provide tools of trade and receive additional training as needed.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems and related troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
