Apprentice Millwright Fives Machining Systems, Inc. – Fives Giddings & Lewis Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Build your future in machine tool industry! Fives Giddings & Lewis is seeking an apprentice millwright to join our manufacturing team. This registered apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to learn industrial maintenance, machine assembly, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair from experienced trades professionals.

What you will learn:

• Industrial machinery installation
• Mechanical assembly techniques
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Rigging and lifting practices
• Equipment alignment
• Preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Welding fundamentals
• Industrial safety practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to work in industrial environments
• Willingness to complete apprenticeship classroom requirements

Preferred qualifications:

• Technical school coursework
• Automotive, construction, mechanical, agricultural, or maintenance experience
• Welding or fabrication experience
