Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Maintenance Mechanic needed in Fond du Lac, WI! 1st Shift!

• Maintain and service shop equipment, with some vehicle maintenance as needed.
• General welding and fabrication duties.
• Perform basic electrical repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Perform oil changes on company trucks and vans, change flat tires, and handle DOT requirements for company vehicles.
• Maintain a few forklifts including fluid changes, tire changes, and other preventative maintenance tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of previous equipment maintenance experience including machinery and vehicle repair.
• Welding/fabrication experience strongly preferred.
• General electrical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good record.

This Maintenance Mechanic opening is a permanent, contract to hire role on 1st shift. Hours are 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday but some flexibility available. Wages are $28-$32/hr, based on experience. Our client has great tenure and hoping to find the right long-term fit.
