The Distribution Specialist will utilize a solid foundation of basic distribution techniques and experience. Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Distribution Specialist will learn how to perform daily tasks in the distribution department in an accurate and time-efficient manner. The Distribution Specialist may be assigned independent projects and may also participate in the creation of special projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and communicate with all team members in a professional manner.
  • Accurately identify product quality and count.
  • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare products for orders.
  • Package orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet order shipping dates.
  • Use and comply with universal safety precautions to protect self and co-workers from biohazardous materials.
  • Exhibit proper handling of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in the workplace.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proper storage of materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to routinely lift to 70lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ related experience in a distribution role
  • Ability to learn company software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under cold conditions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs routinely
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • LN2 Exposure
  • Stress generated by the need to meet many and frequent deadlines
