Material Handler; 2nd Shift

Position Overview

As part of the Plant 17 Materials team, you will support material handling initiatives under the direction of the Materials Supervisor. You will maintain responsibility for assigned tools, equipment and product, quality and quantity of product, and adherence to all company procedures.

• Perform mandatory equipment pre‑operation checks
• Obtain tying or binding material from designated areas as necessary
• Ensure materials are moved to correct locations
• Handle materials conscientiously, including but not limited to cages, baskets, skids, and pallets
• Handle materials within scrap hoppers
• Mobilize baskets in indoor and outdoor environments
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean and organize work, storage areas, and equipment at close of shift and as required
• Observe all safety rules and follow all safe practices at all times
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Pass pre‑employment drug screening and a physical

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification

Foundry environment with exposure to heat and dust.

$26.49 to $29.98 hourly.
