A global, industry‑leading manufacturing organization is seeking a driven Assistant Controller to support its growing finance function. This company operates across international markets and offers a fast‑paced environment with strong operational and financial complexity. The Assistant Controller will partner closely with plant leadership, cost accounting teams, and global finance to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls. The Assistant Controller will be heavily involved with the day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and play a key role in cost accounting activities.

Manufacturing experience is an absolute must, as the Assistant Controller will be deeply involved in analyzing variances, inventory, and costing. This role requires someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and capable of guiding accounting processes while also supporting strategic initiatives.

• Lead core accounting functions including general ledger oversight, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Act as the primary point of contact for cost accounting activities, including standard costs, cost rolls, and variance analysis.
• Partner with manufacturing operations to drive financial clarity and improve cost accuracy.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and support both internal and external audits.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate and global accounting standards.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to accounting staff as a leadership‑minded Assistant Controller.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple sites.
• Serve as a proactive Assistant Controller who collaborates with plant, regional, and global finance teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA highly preferred, but not required
• Proven experience as an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar finance leader
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong cost accounting expertise—standard costing, variances, cost analysis
• ERP experience required; exposure to large‑scale or international systems a major plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and operate in a high‑volume environment
