1st Shift Machine Operator

Pridestaff is currently seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in Fontana, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate: $22 - $23 hourly

Shift: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm (some overtime and weekends maybe required)

Job Duties:

Will be operating manual machines that are manufacturing paper, cardboard, and cardboard core products. This position is very physical and requires material handling of finished or unfinished products. Position also requires keeping pace with the machinery, packaging, counting the product accurately, palletizing, stacking, and inspecting. Ability to maintain a well-organized and clean work area is also required.

Job Requirements:

• Must have recent related manufacturing or production experience
• Paper, paper tube, spiral wound tube product, edge protector, cardboard core or corrugated cardboard manufacturing experience highly desired
• Must have experience operating production machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and pull throughout the shift.
• Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have stable work history and favorable work references
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
