Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license (California required)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly desired
• Proficiency in caring for patients from birth through geriatrics
• Strong triage, rapid assessment, and emergency intervention skills
• Experience with electronic health records and ED flow sheets

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform timely and thorough patient assessments upon admission and throughout each shift
• Develop, implement, and continually update patient care plans
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols
• Maintain clear, accurate, and detailed documentation with appropriate legal and professional standards
• Communicate efficiently with physicians and healthcare team; utilize SBAR for handoffs
• Educate patients and families based on assessed needs, using appropriate resources
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and respond to emergency situations following established policies
• Apply infection control procedures, patient safety protocols, and participate in disaster preparedness
