Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Fontana, California

This travel nursing assignment in Fontana places you at the forefront of emergency nursing, where you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and enhance your skillset in a fast-paced environment. Schedule/Hours:
  • Travel assignment with variable shifts, tailored to support flexibility and work-life balance.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license
  • Emergency Department experience required
  • Advanced patient assessment skills with proficiency in triage and care for patients from pediatric to geriatric
  • Certifications:

    BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly desired
  • Strong documentation skills with knowledge of ED flow systems
Responsibilities:
  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments on admission, reassess as needed, and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer and monitor medications and treatments, document outcomes diligently
  • Provide patient and family education and utilize available resources for instruction
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, participate in multidisciplinary planning, and communicate changes in condition
  • Promote patient safety and adherence to infection control, privacy practices, and National Patient Safety Goals
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing emergencies, responding to rapid response events, and following disaster protocols
  • Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies, including documentation and handoff communications
