Job Title:
Senior Associate/Junior Partner - Family Law
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
King Law Offices, PC, a well-established and respected family law firm, is seeking an experienced family law attorney to join our team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner. We are committed to providing top-notch legal services to our clients and are eager to welcome a highly skilled attorney to help us continue our tradition of excellence. We are looking to fill this position in the following locations:
Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC).

Responsibilities- Represent clients in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and prenuptial agreements
- Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
- Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals
- J.D. from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association
- 2-10 years of experience practicing family law
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus
- Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus
