Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining, organizing, verifying, and transporting materials and supplies per production schedule/orders. The Material Handler is responsible for executing all shipping and receiving functions, including loading/unloading trucks and using SAP to transact materials.

Job Type: Full time, onsite

Responsibilities

• Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Load/unload trucks and store/move materials using a forklift or other equipment.
• Use SAP to transact materials.
• Print and apply labels.
• Sorts and stage items according to production needs.
• Maintain appropriate documentation.
• Partner with other departments to determine inflow of materials.
• Attend production meetings as required.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operator role highly preferred
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Basic math and computer skills
• Experience reading and understanding specifications, SOP's, and other work instructions.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
