Flex Security Officer

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in security and customer service fields.

Looking for passionate, skilled professionals to join our team. Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and perform security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

• Rover:
  Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse:
  Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to all persons on the property.
• Front Desk:
  Acknowledge and greet guests with courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, manage access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, distribute packages, and announce visitors.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage all guest/visitor access and eject trespassers or violators when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visits.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior or exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report safety and security concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation (reports and documents).
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced and followed.
• Perform other duties as determined by management.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience highly preferred, and emergency dispatch experience encouraged.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• Work must include occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
