Senior Accountant
Location:
Forest Grove, OR (Portland Metropolitan Area)
Employment Type:
Temp (3-6 months, may go longer)
Compensation: $45‑60/hr usd
Work Hours:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours a week
Exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Accountant for a well‑known company in the Forest Grove, OR area. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the Accounts Payable process and experience working as an Accountant in a Manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that is growing quickly.
In this role, you will:
- Work with the Accounts payable department to ensure that processes are followed accurately
- Perform month‑end close processes
- Manage the tax projects and sales tax for the company
To be a fit, you must have:
- Strong knowledge of the Accounts payable process
- Experience with fixed assets, journal entries, and prepaid schedules
- Must have SAP ERP Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior Manufacturing experience
