Verify Inc. is seeking an experienced Source Inspector to perform inspections on Printed Wire Boards (PWBs) and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) at a supplier site in Forest Grove, OR. This is a critical role requiring expertise in electronics inspection and familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards. This flexible, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for retirees with extensive electronics inspection experience who are looking to stay engaged and make a meaningful contribution to the aerospace and defense industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conductvisualanddimensionalinspectionsonelectronicassembliesandsub-assemblies,focusingonprintedboards.
- Reviewandverifypartsagainstengineeringdrawings,customerpurchaseorders,industry standards,and specifications.
- Documentandreportinspectionresults(accept/reject) directlytothecustomerusingwebapplicationsor
Microsoft
Office tools. - Ensureallnecessarydocumentationiscompletedaccuratelyandsubmittedinatimelymanner.
- Experience: Minimum
10yearsofhands-onexperienceinelectronicsinspection,specificallywithprintedboards,in aerospace,defense,ormanufacturingenvironments. - Certifications:
Required: IPC-600
Certification - Comprehensiveknowledgeofelectronicsanddefenserequirements.
- Strongattentiontodetailandproficiencyinreportinginspectionresults.
