Environmental Health & Safety Specialist
TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to improve processes and lead projects within its manufacturing operations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate projects, including new start‑up and upgrading existing processes, and seeking cost‑effective and efficient ways to operate all water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Design and oversee construction of all EHS improvement projects throughout the business unit, including overseeing contractors on site.
- Collaborate with production to proactively evaluate design/process changes that may impact environmental or employee health.
- Assist in conducting Industrial Hygiene monitoring, data analysis, and environmental and safety site evaluations with EHS and third‑party consultants to develop compliant strategies.
- Manage compliance data, reporting, and permit application processes.
- Maintain knowledge of current and prospective compliance regulations and changes.
- Interface with State & Local authorities to ensure compliance applications and documents meet expectations.
- Report all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
- Perform job duties using required PPE and participate fully in safety training.
- Facilitate and attend safety meetings; communicate regularly with managers and supervisors; suggest and compose procedural changes; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Plan, schedule, and execute improvement and cost‑saving projects.
- Assist in daily operations during emergencies, special circumstances, or short staff periods.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence presenting to employees; ability to build relationships and influence behaviors professionally.
- Strong multitasking ability and demonstration of leadership.
- Mathematical and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Reliability, independence, and follow‑through on assignments.
- Fast learner comfortable asking questions when uncertain.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and procedures.
- Read vision sufficient for extended sitting periods (up to 10 hours).
- Four‑year degree in a related field required;
Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science preferred. - Internship, academic or work experience in EHS strongly preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Applicants must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products, recognizing foreign person visitors, following authorization procedures for visitors, managing export and ITAR requirements for shipments, and vetting vendors for ITAR manufacturing and services.
