(Up to 4 positions available per School, maximum of 5 hours per week, 12 weeks per semester.)

This position is only open to current Pacific University Students

Purpose of Position: Faculty Support

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Students in this position will work with their School Chair and Student Advisor to the School
Chair to ensure the school effectively integrates student voices and crosses disciplinary divides to
provide an engaging environment for students within the schools. Individual school advisory
teams also work as a collective to maintain coordination and collaboration across schools to
create cohesion for the college. Possible specific roles include communications lead, school
events lead, career & experiential learning lead, and creative lead. (More details can be found in
the description of the School Student Advisory Team.)

Wage rate: $16.80/hr

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Pacific University undergraduate student
  • Qualifies for federal work study funding for the  academic year (preferred, but not required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Able to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with FERPA regulations and Pacific University’s policies and procedures
  • Possesses good oral and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills including the ability to work with diverse populations of students, staff, faculty, and community members
  • Self-motivated
  • Serves as an information source to students, staff, faculty, and community members
