Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all types of visual inspection related to printed circuit boards using magnification equipment's.
  • Segregate and identify circuit boards with flaws.
  • Inspect each board and identify errors and defects.
  • Perform First Article/AS9102 report and review for correctness.
  • Perform final count of acceptable and rejected boards.
  • Proficient use of inspection tools (i.e. Surface plate, gauges, pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, AOI, OPTEK).
  • Perform minor rework/return to conformance.
  • Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify COLT (tracking system) in cases of discrepancy.
  • Complete report, sign traveler and input data into COLT (non-conformance report).
  • Obtain final report package (deliverable) and move to the shipping department.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Good grasp of basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required.
  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Limited use in following prints and specifications.
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow directions regarding inspecting printed circuit boards.
  • Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit boards (approx. 5-10 lbs.).
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds without straining.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
