** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, corridors, production or lab spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.

+ Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials, and directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.

+ Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems and report observed issues to the appropriate contacts.

+ Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate shift handoffs to oncoming personnel.

+ Support security-related procedures common to technology and telecom locations, such as monitoring restricted areas, protecting confidential work spaces, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.

+ Provide assistance to employees, contractors, and guests with directions, escorts when requested, and general service needs consistent with site policy.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
