Responder Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a Responder Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets for diverse clients. In this mobile-focused role, you respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, conduct patrols, perform safety checks, and write clear incident reports. You will monitor access, deter theft and vandalism, and support fire and life-safety procedures. Using provided communication tools and technology, you'll coordinate with dispatch and local authorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency calls at client sites
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to deter unauthorized activity and ensure site safety
• Monitor access points, verify identification, and enforce client security procedures
• Observe, detect, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and safety issues
• Prepare accurate, timely incident and daily activity reports
• Operate radios, phones, and security technology to communicate with dispatch and supervisors
• Coordinate with client contacts and public safety agencies as directed
• Support fire, life-safety, and evacuation procedures during emergencies
• Follow all Securitas and client policies, post orders, and safety standards
• Provide professional, customer-focused service to clients, employees, and visitors
