Position: Equipment Maintenance Tech (Plumber) - Compressed Day Shift

Overview

Scope

Assists with general maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems. Maintains acceptable conditions throughout the plant for PCB fabrication. Receives technical guidance from higher-level technicians. Proficient in plumbing runs, requirements and regulations. This position will be on Days Monday – Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. Occasional overtime on weekends for special projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs repairs and/or installs of plumbing lines for water, air, or ventilation.
  • Performs reactive maintenance on facility equipment while learning to utilize electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical skills and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on facility equipment.
  • Helps maintain maintenance records and information on facility equipment.
  • Assists with methods of cost-effective installation, monitoring and modification of facility equipment.
  • Assists with problem troubleshooting in equipment, process, or materials.
  • Interfaces and communicates with internal and external customers as needed to resolve equipment issues.
  • Suggests equipment improvement opportunities and modification of equipment to improve operation.
  • Completes assigned facilities projects in a timely manner.
  • Helps maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Performs daily housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Requires a Journeyman plumbing license with extensive knowledge in water, air, and ventilation pipe runs.
  • Must be able to establish priorities; manage personal work assignment backlog.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain basic electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Work performing reactive and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of facility equipment.
  • Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work holidays and weekends based on coverage needs.
  • Able to communicate well with others, from Engineers to Associates.
Education and Experience
  • Requires a Journeyman Plumbing license.
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical drawings is necessary.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows software applications.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

d) understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
