Salary: $44.61 – $50.18 Hourly | $92,788.45 – $ per year

- Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
- Complete planned and ad‑hoc preventive maintenance work assignments requiring coordination with engineering, mechanical, and maintenance trades.
- Conduct periodic inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, mechanical equipment rooms) to ensure clean and safe conditions.
- Rapidly respond to and investigate indoor emergency situations and air quality complaints.
- Create, close, and track work requests (WR); initiate or respond to work orders and verify completion.
- Monitor performance of service contractors and recommend changes as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Support delivery of data center services including colocation, telecommunications, and additional services to customers and internal systems.
- Act as an operational contact for data center customers, vendors, and carriers related to colocation, connectivity, and network products.
- Carry out tasks under direction of the Network/Engineering Infrastructure Manager and IT Manager to support internal networks and IT infrastructure.
- Conduct activities in IT and telecommunications rooms such as installing hardware, running patch cables, and testing cable paths.
- Coordinate access to and work within the facility with third‑party contractors, vendors, and carriers for structured cabling, circuit delivery, and equipment installation in IT and telecommunications rooms.
- Support off‑site points‑of‑presence at remote locations and assist with operations, administration, and maintenance of network equipment and related services.
- 0–2 years of directly related experience in operating, installing, and maintaining data center critical equipment and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, control systems).
- High school diploma or GED and two+ years of experience in electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems: feeders, transformers, generators, switch gear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, chillers, air‑handling units, CRAC units.
- Good observation skills and problem‑solving ability.
- Lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40 lbs.
- Climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment.
- Stand for long periods in various work environments.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment.
- Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies.
- Move efficiently in various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and dexterity for small components and connectors.
- Clear vision, with or without correction, for tasks requiring precision while wearing safety glasses.
- Differentiate color‑coded warning signs, labels, and cables.
- Work in environments with varying temperatures inside the facility.
