About the RoleAs a Stevedore, you’ll play a key role in Aurizon’s Bulk operations by:
- Loading and unloading cargo – from containerised freight to bulk products.
- Operating heavy machinery – including forklifts, mobile cranes, and loaders.
- Conducting shipboard and wharf duties – including lashing, unlashing, and yard operations.
- Keeping things moving efficiently – ensuring schedules are met with precision.
Shifts are variable based on shipping schedules, with up to 12-hour shifts, including weekends. This casual role is perfect for those looking to supplement their income or seeking flexible work arrangements.
What We’re Looking ForMandatory:
- Commitment to safety – your top priority!
- Open Crane ticket (essential)
- Doggers ticket (essential)
- C Class driver’s licence (unrestricted or provisional)
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Safety Identification Card (MSIC)
- Over 18 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
