Job SummaryThis role is responsible for the overall operation, evaluation,compliance, and continuous improvement of the Toyota Technician Training & Education Network (T-TEN) program as its primaryarea of responsibility. The position provides year-round leadership for program administration, strategic industry partnerships,workforce development initiatives, work-based learning, and student success activities. Serving as the primary liaison between the College, Toyota Motor North America, participating dealerships, andother stakeholders, this role ensures compliance with Toyotastandards and requirements, supports program quality and sustainability, and advances workforce outcomes aligned with College and industry needs.
As assigned, the position also provides technical and operational support for other manufacturer-sponsoredautomotive programs, industry partnerships, apprenticeshipinitiatives, and related workforce education activities.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the T-TEN program, ensuring alignment with College objectives and Toyota program requirements
- Assesses, plans, and manages program facilities, equipment,instructional resources, and budget resources to support programeffectiveness and fiscal responsibility
- Ensures compliance with Toyota standards, certification requirements, program documentation, reporting obligations, and established deadlines
- Coordinates program assessment, strategic planning, student learning outcomes assessment, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Teaches to support the program, including laboratory and/ordidactic instruction
- Supports faculty instructional effectiveness by coordinatingcertification activities, instructional planning, and alignment with Toyota standards and requirements
- Leads student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and workforcepipeline development activities to support program growth and student success
- Ensures student progression to and achievement of required competencies and program outcomes
- Leads industry partnership and employer engagement efforts byserving as the primary liaison with Toyota Motor North America, participating dealerships, advisory committee members, and other external stakeholders
- Oversees internship and work-based learning activities by coordinating employer partnerships, monitoring student progress,conducting site engagement activities, and ensuring compliance with program requirements
- Coordinates communication, program reviews, certificationactivities, and implementation of required changes resulting from Toyota standards and program evaluations
- Prepares reports, monitors program performance, and maintains records to support accountability, program quality, and long-term sustainability
- Provides leadership and oversight for program activities,including workforce planning, performance management, process improvement, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Focuses on achieving program and organizational objectivesthrough effective management of program operations, industry partnerships, and workforce development initiatives
- Coordinates the work of faculty, staff, and external stakeholders by establishing priorities, supporting accountability, promotingprogram effectiveness, and supporting faculty development and certification activities aligned with Toyota program standards and requirements.
