Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining all essential supplies and materials of the AOHD and PGAC business. They are tasked with the effective and efficient inventory management, including the ordering, receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, and counting of materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms. This position ensures the warehouse is clean, well-maintained, and meets OSHA and best practice safety standards.

Duties and Functions
  • Ensures warehouse inventory reflects business needs. Maintains inventory control and manages reorder/resupply. Unloads and stores materials and inventories deliveries against Bill of Materials. Updates inventory tracking and purchase order systems.
  • Orders supplies and materials based upon provided guidance. Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met. Tracks inventory levels and shipments of goods to ensure on-time and as-needed delivery. Returns excess/unused materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly and ensures return of funds.
  • Maintains orderly records of tool inventory and transfer between the warehouse, trucks, and other locations. Ensures the overall maintenance and repair of tools, fabrication, and carpentry equipment. Updates and maintains inventory tool list and delivery of tools to the jobsite. Logs all rental equipment and ensures it is returned to the vendor appropriately.
  • Sources equipment, vendors, and material to determine product availability and terms of sales. Creates Purchase Order (P.O.) requests and updates the online purchasing system. Accounts for all material, equipment, and supply purchases against P.O.s, Bills of Material (BOM), and work orders.
  • Provides updated warehouse inventory reports, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
  • Maintains housekeeping and security of the warehouse and building.
  • Ensures all workplace health and safety requirements are met.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school and 3+ years of progressively responsible warehouse/inventory management. Experience in Gate, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction industry warehousing preferred.
  • Previous experience and certification operating a Forklift required.

  • Communications:
    Able to communicate effectively in written and oral format across diverse cultures. Able to read and interpret invoices, catalogs, and parts lists in English.
  • Math:
    Able to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using standard units of measure and weight.
  • Reasoning:
    Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to follow instructions deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation with only general supervision.
  • Teamwork/Reliability:
    Able to organize workload for maximum effectiveness. Able to multi-task and work constructively in a team environment.
  • Technology:
    Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook sufficient for basic communication, reporting, and notes.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day. Able to stand, climb, walk, kneel, and crouch as required to store/receive materials.
Work Environment

The physical environment requires employee to work in an office environment, fabrication warehouse, and outdoors. Frequently required to use and promote use of personal protective equipment to prevent injury. Will be driving on occasion to job sites from main office and different office locations.

Travel Required

Occasional day travel to and from job sites or vender to pick up or drop of parts.

    - Friday 8AM-5PM
