Dual Certified Special Education Teacher
Forest Lake, MN | $50 - $55/hour

We are seeking a dual certified special education teacher to support early childhood and elementary students with diverse learning needs. This onsite role is ideal for an educator who enjoys creating individualized learning experiences, collaborating with families and staff, and helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies for students with disabilities
- Adapt curriculum and classroom activities based on student learning needs
- Monitor student progress through assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support teams to develop effective student plans
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Minnesota Department of Education special education license
- Dual certification in early childhood special education (ECSE) and elementary special education required
- Experience or licensure in DCD, ASD, or EBD preferred
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, approximately 35–37.5 hours per week
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 35–37.5 hours per week
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
