Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher with dual certification in both Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education. These contract opportunities begin in early September 2026 and extend through the beginning of June 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at 37.5 hours per week. Two full-time positions are available, each providing a meaningful blend of early childhood and K-5 resource teaching within supportive elementary school settings.
Key
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Special Education (required; please submit PDF copy with your application)
- Experience or strong interest in both early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with creating and adapting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to meet students unique needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Role Highlights:
- Teach half-time in early childhood and half-time as a K-5 resource teacher at one of two elementary schools
