ECFE Teaching Assistant II

Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking caring and enthusiastic individuals to serve as Teaching Assistants in our Early Childhood Program for the  school year. Teaching Assistants play an essential role in supporting classroom instruction, promoting a positive learning environment, and helping young children develop foundational skills in a nurturing setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside early childhood educators to assist with daily classroom activities, support individual and small group learning, and help maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for preschool-aged children.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in an educational or care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take direction, collaborate with educators, and work as part of a team
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Rate of pay is subject to change based on the bi-annual review of the school board. Hours are 10:30-2:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 12:15-2:00 Tuesday and Thursday. These positions include benefits based on hours per the General Benefits Policy.
