Ranger

ELS is hiring a Ranger in Advance, North Carolina.

Walk or patrol the campground grounds, answer questions, enforce rules, and ensure the safety of guests and their belongings.

• Monitor the property for any issues or potential problems.
• Ensure the property is properly secured.
• Ensure guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Verify all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate access.
• Perform routine patrols and inspect golf carts and rentals.
• Take camping reservations, check people in and out, and sell day passes and items at the store.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
• Provide on‑call emergency service as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills and proficiency with computer applications.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or an RV environment (benefit).
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly, assess quickly, judge reasonably, and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
