Location:
Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025
Schedule:
Shifts include weekends and holidays.

The Pit Lead ensures employees are providing excellent customer service and supervises personnel working in their respective areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Preserves the integrity of the games by providing close oversight of employees and guests in respective area, while continually maintaining observation for dealer/player misconduct.
- Enforces performance standards, policies and procedures related to Pit Games, ensuring compliance with the gaming regulations.
- Enforce and support company policy with knowledge and understanding of all Running Aces approved Pit Games, while holding extensive knowledge of department processes.
- Continuously observes games in progress for possible irregularities in player or dealer conduct.
- Maintain positive customer relations, evaluate play and extend complimentary services when appropriate.
- Monitors and assists in changing of cards and performing table fills/credits.
- Assists the Pit Manager when counting cards and secures the card control cabinet.
- Maintains knowledge of current Casino promotions.
- Maintains a visual presence on the casino floor at all times, while walking the entirety of the pit area(s) assigned to continuously monitor fellow employees and guests.
- Abilities to make impartial and unbiased decisions surrounding problems and/or errors.
- Communicate to Pit and/or Shift Manager any irregularities or discrepancies that occur on a table or with a guest.
- Ability to effectively coach individuals on company and departmental policy/procedure violations.
- Must know and adhere to all game protection policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Casino Games experience.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and noisy conditions, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
- Must maintain a calm and patient attitude when coaching individuals or while handling difficult customers and employees.
