Mental Health Counselor

This is an on‑site contract position for a Mental Health Counselor located in Forest Lake, MN. The Mental Health Counselor will provide therapeutic support, including individual, group, and relationship counseling, for clients managing various mental health challenges. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, conducting assessments, offering evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate case management records while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

• Strong expertise in Treatment Planning and Case Management
• In‑depth understanding of Mental Health and Psychology principles
• Experience providing Relationship Counseling and working with diverse client populations
• Licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or similar
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Previous experience in a therapeutic or mental health setting is an advantage
