Position: Quality Technician in Forest Lake, MN | $26.63-32.50/Hour

Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.

Preferred 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment with 5+ years of CMM programming (PCDMIS preferred).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills; effective business correspondence and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems, acute eye for details during inspections.

Understanding of modern manufacturing processes; knowledge of systems implementation including ISO 9001 and AS9100 preferred; experience with basic and advanced measurement tools (OGP, Trimos, tool scopes, etc.); knowledge of blueprint reading / GDT; an understanding of component and/or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing.

To be able to perform daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to be able to solve practical problems and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and other internal departments.

Lifting 25lbs occasionally.

Sitting for long durations of time.

Reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Regularly required to stand and walk.

Quality Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

Work cooperatively with all employees.

Program and operate CMM.

Initiate, perform, and maintain inspection instructions for receiving, in-process and final inspections.

Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.

Investigate and determine cause of quality issues; assist production and other personnel with Corrective Action process.

Assist in the handling and documentation of nonconforming product.

Assist in maintaining the calibration system.

Performs all other assignments as required.
