Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Forest Lake, MN
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:15AM-3:30PM
Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications

Consistent recent work history of at least 6 months at previous employers.

Preferred previous experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing setting.

Previous experience working in a role with formal processes.

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding how to read and what blueprints are.

Previous experience working with measurements (rulers, tape measures, etc.).

Experience in articulating processes in a detailed manner.

The ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal forms.

Demonstrate a history of strong problem‑solving skills.

The ability to perform job functions on quick timelines.

Aptitude to learn and implement new skills for professional growth.

Willingness to be cross‑trained in a variety of different roles.

Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception.

Must be comfortable using hands and fingers with good dexterity to manipulate small parts.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers.

Ability to stand and sit for long durations depending on daily needs.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Use small hand tools to assemble medical devices and defense products.

Inspect small parts under a microscope, following set guidelines and standards.

Trim plastic parts using knives or cutters.

Work in a clean room environment as needed.

Operate manufacturing machines.

Complete tasks accurately and on time.

Record job progress and completion.

Report any quality issues or challenges.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
