Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to support daily operations in a production environment. This role focuses heavily on troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, while also performing general mechanical maintenance to keep the facility running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, controls, relays, sensors, wiring, and basic PLC related issues.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and other plant equipment.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document all work performed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders.
  • Identify root cause issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures including proper lockout and tagout practices.
  • Work with production personnel to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair AC and DC electrical systems and control circuits.
  • Understanding of basic PLC related issues and repair
  • Experience repairing and maintaining mechanical components including motors, pumps, bearings, and drive systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS tools.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications are a plus.
