Engineer, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly

• Location:Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025
• Schedule:Full-time position with rotating day and night shifts.

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of essential facility systems and equipment, including kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, fire/life safety equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and fixtures throughout the property.

Key responsibilities include performing technical and mechanical tasks, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs promptly to ensure the facility operates smoothly. The role also requires maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and performing additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical, Armed Services, vocational or on-the-job training in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, or plumbing
• Familiar with fire/life safety equipment and procedures
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to successfully interact with others
• Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements
• EPA 608
  
  Certification or the ability to acquire within 90 days of employment
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs., work from heights, distinguish colors accurately, and climb ladders frequently
