Mobile Mechanic

Overview

Stock Sweepers Ltd is a leading UK manufacturer of truck mounted road sweepers. We are based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Mobile Mechanic to join our team, responsible for meeting the daily service, maintenance and repair needs of the customers' equipment. The candidate will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.

The ideal applicant will have experience within the HGV/Plant industry and show a willing attitude to learn new skills. They will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is pro-active, takes pride in their work and is able to work on their own initiative, who has a passion for delivering excellent service and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

• Diagnostic & fitting experience with commercial or plant vehicles. Full training of road sweeping equipment will be provided.
• Hydraulic knowledge required.
• Experience working on commercial vehicle electrics.
• Own hand tools required (diagnostic/battery tools etc supplied by the company).
• Full & clean UK driving licence.
• HGV class 2 licence preferred but not essential.

• Planned servicing.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Conducting repairs to a high standard.
• Complete service paperwork.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies.

Monday - Friday / 08:30 - 17:30

On-site and field based, must be located in/near Cinderford or able to reliably commute.

Full-time, Permanent

Up to £45,000.00

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
