Bilingual Part‑time Patient Coordinator

Opportunities
  • Participate in community events such as school screenings, presentations, and other outreach activities to promote a positive image of our practice.

  • Engage with children—our patient base is predominantly pediatric.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check‑in and check‑out.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits before appointments.
  • Deliver compassionate care to every patient.
  • Greet parents and patients upon entry and exit of the office.
  • Inform waiting parents about the progress of their appointment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk.
  • Ensure insurance information in the patient’s Boomerang file is accurate.
  • Communicate service limits to the clinical team before treatment.
  • Prepare patient files (pull file, update records, verify insurance) before appointments.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader and doctors to facilitate same‑day care.
  • Assist in meeting office financial targets by ensuring hygiene and operative schedules are full.
  • Schedule follow‑up operatory and six‑month recall appointments.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct callers to the appropriate person, and take messages as needed.
  • Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, reschedule no‑shows, and follow up on treatment completion.
  • Re‑file all patient records at the end of the day.
  • Adhere to all government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs, maintaining the highest integrity.
  • Collect any out‑of‑pocket balances from patients before treatment by the clinical team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school graduation or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred.
  • Experience with children's dentistry preferred.
