Your role at Clorox:The Reliability Engineer will provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. In this role, you will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.
In this role, you will:- Coordinates Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes and tracks the implementation of recommendations through resolution.
- Conducts Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develops reliability strategies.
- Reviews equipment specifications and standards and develops recommendations for reliability improvements.
- Formulates, implements, maintains, and audits Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PdM) programs.
- Recommends projects and/or studies and develops cost justification for reliability improvements.
- Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.
- Continues to improve the reliability tools and methods utilized in increasing plant reliability.
- Ensures proper spare parts inventory levels for sustaining equipment maintainability and availability.
- Advices plant and corporate engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are preserved.
- Participates in the final check out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.
- Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
- Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.
- Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
- 5+ years of related work experience (i.e. reliability, maintenance engineering, manufacturing or related)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Solid knowledge in the application of reliability tools such as Failure Mode and effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PdM)
- Being proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Power Point
- Experience with SAP Lean Six sigma green or black belt certification (preferred)

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and are transparent with current and future teammates about our full salary ranges.
Salary ranges- Zone A: $90,900 - $170,100
- Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900
- Zone C: $75,800 - $141,700
All ranges are subject to change in the future. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location.
This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox's incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
