About the Role:
We are seeking an HR Generalist for our Forest Park, GA, facility, a leading manufacturer of quality refrigerated dough. This role will work closely with employees and management to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Maintains a high level of visibility, accessibility, and interaction with all employees on all shifts.
- Performs full-cycle hourly recruiting, including drafting job postings, coordinating job fairs, conducting interviews and background checks, generating offer letters, and assisting employee orientation.
- Coordinates the introductory review process, measuring the compliance and effectiveness of the program.
- Utilize our HRIS, Workday, for data entry and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Assists in weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll administration for temporary, and hourly staff.
- Tracks employee attendance, headcount, and recruitment activity, publishing the data on a weekly basis.
- Monitors and audits the timekeeping system to ensure accuracy of schedules as well as Time off Requests.
- Coordinates employee events and recognition activities.
- Listens to and addresses employee concerns, using excellent judgment in escalating issues and partnering with site HR to identify resolutions.
- Assists frontline leaders in the consistent interpretation and application of policies and practices.
- Conducts workplace investigations.
- Ensures a high level of integrity is maintained and that personnel matters are handled in a professional, consistent, and confidential manner.
