Information Technology Engineer

Position

Information Technology Engineer – Forest Park, GA

• Modify computer systems to conform to local and DoD configuration policies for software and hardware components.
• Maintain necessary certifications for work on government systems.
• Provide technical support for the establishment, test, upgrade, and operational support of systems, networks, workstations, and support equipment hardware and software.
• Assist in information systems design, development, interim operations, maintenance, IT architecture, planning, and statistical analysis.
• Support distributed computing, programming, enterprise management, security management, and network technology.
• Coordinate with the government, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Install, de‑install, modify, integrate, and perform preventive/corrective maintenance of systems and subsystems.
• Obtain specialized training and technical certifications as directed for specific systems and subsystems.
• Assist with shipment, transportation, and storage of medical or hazardous materials in compliance with DoD regulations.
• Participate in the cleanup and decontamination of computer systems infected with viruses or classified spills.

• Five years of experience, with at least two years in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of computer components and networking hardware.
• Current DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level
  
  II certification.
• Knowledge of installation, operation, and maintenance of computer processors, displays, input/output devices, and associated hardware interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance and a U.S. passport.
• Compliance with medical assessment requirements.
