Position Overview

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for the HUB Manager position in our branch operations group located in Forest Park, GA. The HUB Manager is responsible for the transportation, inventory control, and distribution of product, parts, and equipment to/from the GBU distribution centers and to our customers for a designated region.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure on-time delivery of product to/from distribution centers and to customers
  • Ensure efficient warehousing with timely movement of product
  • Extract data and generate reports to assist in performance tracking and decision making
  • Develop and monitor product handling program, space efficiency, labor efficiency, and FIFO movement whenever possible
  • Ensure proper execution and accurate documentation of order filling, transporting, and delivery/receiving
  • Implement and effectively utilize systems to ensure product identification, distribution, and storage accuracy
  • Provide input to accounting, production, and scheduling departments to support financial reports, forecasts, and annual business plans
  • Develop and ensure department policies are applied accurately and consistently, supporting company policies and procedures
  • Train and supervise employees to carry out functions under their control
  • Utilize the most reliable, least expensive delivery services possible
  • Oversee receiving, issue documentation, and resolve discrepancies by interfacing with distribution centers and/or Logistics Department at the Daikin Texas Technology Park
  • Generate reports based on data accumulated through the SAP system
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work area and other company standards
  • Identify value‑creation opportunities in product movement and distribution
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • Guide decisions and problem‑solving with policies, procedures and business plan; receive guidance from Senior Manager/Director
  • Work on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
  • Provide guidance and training to subordinates
  • Have authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination
  • Signing authority established by company policy/guidelines

Experience
  • 6+ years working in a multi-site distribution center
  • 2+ years field logistics experience
