This Service Center Manager position in Atlanta, Georgia is an opportunity to lead people, improve operations, solve problems in real time, and directly influence customer experience and business performance inside a fast-moving, tech-forward transportation company.

Lead a High-Performing Service Center

You’ll Oversee daily operations across dock operations, pickup & delivery, linehaul coordination, OS&D, and customer service. You will also drive operational efficiency, service quality, safety, and profitability.

  • Partner closely with customers, Account Managers, contractors, and drivers
  • Participate in customer discussions and operational problem‑solving
  • Support pricing initiatives and operational solutions
  • Resolve escalations quickly and professionally
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–2+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or terminal operations
  • Proven ability to manage multi‑function operations (dock, P&D, linehaul, admin)
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing cost drivers and revenue levers
  • Experience hiring, developing, and leading frontline and supervisory teams
  • Ability to analyze operational data, interpret performance metrics, and drive decision‑making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with customers, vendors, contractors, and cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems (AS/400 preferred)
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and transportation operations
  • Haz Mat certification and forklift qualification preferred or ability to obtain
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Compensation & Setup
  • Pay: $115,000 to $135,000 per year
  • Location:

    Onsite –Atlanta, GA
