Georgia Production Associate; Cold Storage Facility

Overview

Join F&S Fresh Foods as a Production Associate. Work in one or more manufacturing departments preparing fresh foods for retail sale. Responsibilities include routine preparation, slicing, dicing, production, assembly line and packing tasks.

• Perform routine preparation, production, assembly line and packing tasks in food production or warehouse departments.
• Follow specifications and instructions to cut, slice, dice, peel, assemble, prep, stock, and process fresh products and raw materials.
• Debox materials, assemble food products, sandwiches and snacks, rack finished goods, and break down boxes and containers.
• Participate in changeovers, wash lines, sanitize work spaces, assist with inventory counts, sorting and staging.
• Follow GMPs and USDA requirements; ensure safe food practices are followed.
• Work safely, lift items properly, wear required PPE, and notify a supervisor if safety concerns arise.
• Ensure quality and safety of products by inspecting finished products for consistency, label integrity, and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation between product runs or shifts.
• Attach identifying tags to containers and mark with identifying information.
• Performs other duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a chilled manufacturing environment is helpful.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a chilled environment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in food manufacturing; GMPs.
• bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel) preferred.
• Ability to follow general instructions and meet daily deadlines.
