Your role at Clorox: The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a position as a Learning Management Systems Technical Coordinator for our Atlanta West facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment to manufacture and distribute Clorox cleaning products.

• Partner with Production, Process, Maintenance, Logistics, and Engineering to develop and sustain trainee competencies by establishing robust training methodologies, clear learning objectives, standardized curricula, and comprehensive training plans that support onboarding and continuous development.
• Create competency-based learning paths for cross-functional skill development.
• Collaborate to resolve technical issues with equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems.
• Define and deploy learning objectives for technical training courses and design materials such as equipment manuals, job aids, e-learning modules, equipment training simulators, and visual work instructions for Workday Learning.
• Assess trainee mechanical aptitude using equipment, trainers, and cross-functional collaboration; identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
• Oversee proctoring of trainee evaluations, certifications, and recertification processes to verify knowledge transfer and achievement of training objectives.
• Oversee and maintain training equipment, spare parts, manuals, and training environment.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer related to mechanical/technical equipment drawings and training activities.
• Train on troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of equipment to prevent and resolve process failures and breakdowns.
• Train on daily inspections of electric-powered forklifts and related attachments.
• Train on packaging materials management, safety reporting, and corrective actions for unsafe conditions.
• Train on complex loading practices, warehouse layout, and capacity constraints.
• Plan and prioritize work assignments, support changeover and startup/shutdown processes, and oversee raw materials.
• Participate, lead, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Train Process personnel on equipment operations, including changeover adjustments, basic maintenance, safety procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Train on MSDS handling for chemicals, monitoring tank levels, preparing chemical batches, calibrating pH meters, and performing quality checks on batches.
• Train on unloading of tanks and trucks; pump drums and totes into designated tanks; deface, clean, and prepare totes and drums for reuse or recycling.

Education

  Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or business field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Organizational Development, or related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum
  
  Required:
  
  4-6 years of related experience with technical certification or a minimum of 4 years in Manufacturing, Process, Logistics, and Maintenance. Proven experience as a technical trainer, learning specialist, or instructional designer. Advanced training and materials development experience.
• Preferred: 6 years in Manufacturing, Logistics, and Maintenance with technical certification. Experience with engineering process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and strengthen operational readiness and workforce effectiveness.
• Flexibility to meet shift hours (Mon-Fri 8 hours) and additional hours as needed for business needs.

• Expert level in three or more disciplines (Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, Controls systems) and ability to read equipment schematics.
• Strong analytical, training design, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT standards, GMP, and Microsoft Office suite.
