Test Engineer
This position serves as a developmental role within the P&C Field Service organization. The successful candidate will gain foundational experience in Panel Quality Assurance, learning Protection and Control (P&C) systems and interacting with associated departments. This role is designed to prepare the individual for future opportunities within the Transmission Maintenance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems to validate performance, safety, and reliability.
- Implement and manage testing procedures, tools, and methodologies for thorough system evaluation.
- Collaborate with design engineers and product managers to understand system functionalities and define test criteria.
- Analyze test data to identify deviations or issues in P&C system performance, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Recommend system modifications and enhancements based on test results and performance analysis.
- Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory standards, industry practices, and quality assurance protocols.
- Create comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, and analyses.
- Participate in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues found during testing.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with industry trends related to P&C systems.
Required Qualifications
Education:
An accredited bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Experience:
0-5 years of related professional experience.
