Position: Quality Technician (D Shift)

A leading consumer products company seeks a Quality Technician (D Shift) to perform laboratory testing, quality inspections, chemical inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality support activities for manufacturing and packaging operations.

Quality Technician (D Shift) Responsibilities:
  • Perform wet chemical analyses, identify required tests based on product testing matrices, prepare and standardize laboratory stock reagents, and interpret MSDS information for laboratory chemicals and finished products.
  • Record test data in computer systems and/or logbooks, create SPC charts for data analysis, use SAP to retrieve product specifications and test limits, and support project work as needed.
  • Order, receive, stock, and maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and consumable supplies, prepare and maintain Target/Reject bottles, and maintain department housekeeping.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including scales, pH meters, viscometers, and autotitrators, and demonstrate proper use of volumetric and non-volumetric labware, including meniscus reading for graduated cylinders, burettes, and volumetric flasks.
  • Conduct Finished Case Inspections and other quality checks on packaging lines and support WCM processes, including Early Management, Daily Operations, and other WCM pillars.
Quality Technician (D Shift)

Qualifications:
  • Experience performing laboratory, quality, or manufacturing testing activities.
  • Ability to perform wet chemical analyses and properly use volumetric and non-volumetric laboratory equipment.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling, MSDS information, laboratory reagents, product testing matrices, and quality testing procedures.
  • Experience recording laboratory data in computer systems and/or logbooks and creating SPC charts for data analysis.
  • Ability to use SAP to retrieve product specifications and test limits.
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including scales, pH meters, viscometers, and autotitrators.
  • Ability to conduct quality inspections on packaging lines and support WCM processes.
Shift:
  • 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
