Trailer Mechanic

Overview

We are searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience.

Location:

4367 Old McDonough Rd, Conley, GA 30288.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay: $18.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
