Multifamily Residential Electrician

The Multifamily Residential Electrician is responsible for installing electrical circuitry and components in new construction apartment and amenity projects.

Report directly to the Multifamily Superintendent. Direct electrical apprentices when required.

Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to the NEC code. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify installation layouts. Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and devices. Troubleshoot and repair circuitry and components. Maintain safety standards. All other duties as assigned by the Multifamily Superintendent.

Understand local and national regulations for safe electrical systems. Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings. Self-motivated and driven to complete job tasks effectively and efficiently. Good work ethic and willingness to learn. Physical dexterity. Ability to communicate clearly. Organizational skills. Ability to work well with others as a team.

2-5 years of fast-paced electrical new construction experience preferred. Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
